What happens when resistance enters existing circuits of work and life? Artistic action can inhabit everyday life to confront and slip under oppressions, without becoming slogan, spectacle, or moral instruction.
Insertions gathers artistic interventions in and around Papierstraße. Inspired by the poetics of resistance and drawing from practices of subtle infiltration, the programme explores public space as a site of encounter, friction, humour, and unexpected power to act. Seven invited artists and duos work with performance, material interjections and new community alliances to stir critical and joyful momentum on the streets– insertions into the social and material routines of everyday life.
